Aboriginal Jobs Together
AbSec invites Non-Government organisations (NGO"S) to participate in the Aboriginal Jobs Together project (AJT). The AJT is a trial project funded by th Commonwealth and the NSW Governments for two years (2011-2013) with the aim of:
-increasing Aboriginal employment in the disability and community services NGO sector
- helping to build the capacity of NGO's to employ Aboriginal people: and
-assisting Aboriginal people to meet the skill requirements of NGO's.
Under Aboriginal Jobs Together, AbSec is being funded to assist NGO's to employ 45 cadets/trainees.
