AbSec Board
AbSec’s Board is formed from representatives of Aboriginal community controlled organisations from across NSW, working within the child protection, out of home care and disability sectors. AbSec’s Board is excited to lead the NSW Aboriginal peak organisation, and Aboriginal sector in NSW.
The Aboriginal Child, Family and Community Care State Secretariat (AbSec) held its recent Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 12 October 2016 providing an opportunity to showcase the achievements of the past 12 months and the year ahead to members and stakeholders. (Read our latest Annual Report)
The AGM also provided an opportunity for AbSec to elect incoming Board members for the association. AbSec takes seriously its role in ensuring good governance, and as such, we are pleased to advise that our Board consists of the following members:
